The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) has a duty to produce a Police and Crime Plan for the period of their term in office, which currently is for the period 2024 to 2028. The overarching mission is to make Bedfordshire safer and fairer with an achievable plan. It must maximise impact and public benefit, have measurable outcomes, and be affordable within tight financial constraints.
