Bedford Borough Council has updated its online bin collection calendar to reflect recent changes to residential collection routes. Residents can now view the next four weeks of scheduled collections online.

This update allows residents to check for any changes to their usual collection days. Households with an additional collection on Saturday 28 March can also confirm which bins should be presented.

Food waste collections are now included within the online calendar. Further information about the new service, including frequently asked questions and an introductory video, is available here:

Residents will also receive a leaflet through the post this week, providing guidance specific to their property type. There are three versions of the leaflet covering:

• Households with kerbside food waste collections
• Flats with communal bin stores
• Flats with external collection points

Residents are encouraged to review the information provided and check their collection schedules regularly.
